We have manual hollow spindle machines and operators that have an "old school" knowledge to cut, cut off and recut threads on drill collars and drill pipe to certain specifications. Our hollow spindles lathes have up to 12" front and rear chucks with beds of 28" x 144". We do not run CNC manufacturing. Cut pins and relief grooves. Cut boxes and bore backs. Kemplate ends. Cut spiral drill collars. Clean, gauge and face joints. Straighten drill collars and Kellys. Build and rework subs, TIW valve subs, handling subs, changeover subs, swivel subs and Kelly saver subs. Bore for float. Cut float seat. Turn OD and Drill ID on drill collars, drill pipe and subs. Rework and bevel casing. Cut lip guides. Cut fishnecks. Face joints. Cut cable tool joints. Build swedge. Rework washpipe. Cut PH6 pins and PH6 boxes. Cut Left Hand joints. Cut Hydrill pins and Hydrill boxes. Cut Insert pins and Insert boxes. Chase threads in overshot bowls. Cut bit jars. Thread API casing. Rework sand pumps. Build up joints with brass. Rework Kelly hoses.
